An average of 5 drawing and painting themes will be covered over the 10 weeks course. (We may fit a few more in if we have time)

Links prodived for art materials are my recommendations for their good value, quantity and/or quality ~ For example I will purchase an A3 Watercolour pad with 50 sheets because it better value than 12 A4 sheets. I cut down the sheets to A4 as required. However, I will purchase a good quality, Winsor and Newton White Gouache due to the higher pigment content for better opacity when highlighting on top of a watercolour painting.
Drawing and Painting with Watercolour
(Watercolour for beginners follows a simliar format)

Course Overview

The course is suitable for some experince of all levels of ability. Gradual and complete instructions are provided every step of the way for each project. For absolute newbies please join the Watercolours For Beginners.

The course will cover practices in drawing and painting with watercolour.

You will be sent regular information via email, prior to each project.

Each project will begin with a drawing and exploring techniques session to prepare you for creating the artwork theme for the project. Projects may run for 1-2 weeks or more.

The Online Classes begin with ‘greetings and introductions’ followed by a short pre-made demonstration video for the session when required.

The session will then continue with step-by-step instructions, to be followed by you. There will be time to create and reflect on your progress, with the tutor and each other.

A short break will take place halfway through for 10mins, which will give you time to chat with each other and grab a cupper.

Sessions will be recorded for you to revisit with a private link to YouTube for everyone who attends the session. You will be given the option to turn off your video prior to recording if you do not wish to be recorded.

Demonstration videos are made to accompany the sessions and are available as a permanent resource from the tutor’s YouTube channel and Website pages.

You will be provided an Invitation and resources links to the website and YouTube channel in an introduction emails prior to the beginning of the course.
