Maori Inspired

Maori Inspired project ideas created from collaborations and maori designs, drawn up into designs. Sketched up and used for different purposes such as Bodypainting fun with Snazaroo body paints.

Project 1:
Maori Inspired Bodypainting

For this study, I used Snazaroo body paint and a selection of round and flat synthetic brushes normally used for acrylics and watercolour.

First I began with sketching ideas, before progressing into having some fun with body paint. I started with creating guidelines in blue, then filling in gradients, 'fills' after which I outlined, with black.

This project comes together through collaborations with my learners, from Florida. I love working with these guys on different ideas, it's what makes tutoring so much fun and very diverse.
