Ferndale Run Series: 4a
This is one of my own personal artworks as an example....
Flowing lines, curves and spirals composition. For the painting on canvas board on the left- Tissue Paper, PVA, Texture Paste, Impasto Gel Medium and Acrylic Paints. for the sketch on the right, medium compact charcoal sticks and colour pencils.
The run is long, the air cool and crisp flows in and out , the landscape fills all, and I am small in the rhythm lost moment by moment and the light low, makes my shadows stretch before my form and I'm chasing it all the way back down to bottom of the valley.
