Drawing and Painting with Watercolours
Course Overview
The course is suitable for some experince of all levels of ability. Gradual and complete instructions are provided every step of the way for each project.
The course will cover practices in drawing and painting with watercolour. You will be sent regular information via email, prior to each project. Each project will begin with a drawing and exploring techniques session to prepare you for creating the artwork theme for the project. Projects may run for 1-2 weeks or more. The first session will be exploring watercolour techniques. You will need Watercolours, 300gsm textured watercolour paper, paints, palette, brushes, masking tape and drawing board. The Online Classes begin with ‘greetings and introductions’ followed by a short pre-made demonstration video for the session when required.
The session will then continue with step-by-step instructions, to be followed by you. There will be time to create and reflect on your progress, with the tutor and each other. A short break will take place halfway through for 10mins, which will give you time to chat with each other and grab a cupper. Sessions will be recorded for you to revisit with a private link to YouTube for everyone who attends the session. You will be given the option to turn off your video prior to recording if you do not wish to be recorded. Demonstration videos are made to accompany the sessions and are available as a permanent resource from the tutor’s YouTube channel and Website pages. You will be provided an Invitation and resources links to the website and YouTube channel in an introduction emails prior to the beginning of the course. You will need-
