Roath Park Stream and Waterfall

This project has been inspired by a photo I took of one of my favourite places in Roath Park in Cardiff, Wales of a little stream and waterfall.

Materials

Preliminary Drawing on Watercolour paper with HB Pencil and then selected areas are isolated with Masking Fluid.

The Painting:
Drawing board
Masking Tape
Watercolours
Watercolour paper 300gms, I stock up with an A3 Textured Pad and cut the paper in half for A4
For the sketch, a HB Pencil and putty rubber.
A Selection of flat and round brushes of different sizes. I use synthetic brushes made by Royal & Langnickel
