This is the first stage of a painting commissioned by Cardiff University Brain Research Imaging Centre CUBRIC. The video is part of my process. The layers montaged throughout are a visual representation of the way I am thinking about the work at that moment. By creating the video as I paint I enable myself to review and refine the ideas that come to mind. The visual data is from several sources from CUBRIC credits will be updated soon. The art working is combining many aspects of CUBRIC's research and methods more information relating to the whole project will be updated soon on my website www.peneloperosecowley.com.
