Body Painting Steampunk Theme

For this study, I used Snazaroo body paint and a selection of round and flat synthetic brushes normally used for acrylics and watercolour.
The twisted item in the forearm is based on a 'Auger', which is a tool for boring holes into wood which I found in my old toolbox. Before creating this study, I had collected lots of odd bits and pieces from the tool shed and made assemblages with the items to inspire my steampunk themed. I then put together a pencil sketch based mainly on one of my favourite items the 'Auger'...
