Dragon Slayer
Acrylic on Canvas A3 2018 by Penelope Rose Cowley Click here Signed Limited Editions Giclee or Art Poster This painting is dedicated to all the Dragon Slayers, to all the lives saved and those who are still fighting the dragon. Inspired by my husband Mr. David Cowley patient advocacy and work to facilitate life-saving medicines to people with Hepatitis C through his facebook group- https://www.facebook.com/groups/HepCworldgenerictreatment/ The pharmaceutical compounds for are hepatitis-C- sofosbuvir and ledipasvir. Sofobuvir somehow cloak it's self until it's gets to the liver.... so i have emblazoned into the cloak on the Dragon slayer. It looks like a fog too, and for all those that have ever suffered with Hep C will know what that's all about... Sofosbuvir was invented by, and named after, Michael Sofia... 'Sofia hypothesized that if he could shroud a nucleoside with an “invisibility cloak” to get it into liver cells he could then count on the liver’s enzymes to break down the cloak and activate the drug. Once the cloak has been shed, the nucleoside would be trapped inside, protecting the rest of the body from exposure.'
