Most of Caroline’s work is oil painting on stretched canvas. A few of her paintings are mixed media combining for example household paint or metallic leaf with oil paint. The three framed artworks involve the use of trailed glue and coloured sand. Caroline has been teaching a broad variety of art disciplines since 1995. Posts have included Higher and Further Education but she has devoted most of her teaching career to Community level Art, Craft and Design. Her over-riding philosophy is to stretch and enable each student to develop their individual style whilst gaining a holistic positivity from the creating process. She has been painting since 2007 and had her first major show at Llanover Hall Arts Centre in 2011. Earlier this year she showed a collection of work inspired by her travels to India at the Lushism exhibition www.lushism.com. Caroline is also the founder of a co-operative organisation, Moonlit Creativity.
